Breda, Iowa Today

Our Nieland ancestors who emigrated from Germany in the 1870s and 1880s all settled in or near Breda, Iowa a small town (population 400) in Carroll County, which located in southwestern Iowa. Many Nieland descendants still live in or near Breda. These photos were taken in 2002.
