Three Emigrant Sons of John Gerhard Nieland:  Bernard, Heinrich and Hermann – about 1950

Three of John Gerhard Nieland's (1840-1919) sons emigrated from Germany. These three brothers are Bernard Christiopher Nieland (1874-1965), Heinrich Josef Nieland — known as Henry J Nieland in the USA — (1971-1957), and half brother Hermann Franz Nieland (1885-1958). Bernard lived for several years in Breda, Iowa, then finally settled in Sterns County, Minnesota. Both Heinrich and Hermann settled near Breda, Carroll County, Iowa.
