Johann Bernard and Maria Franziska (Kipp) Könning - about 1933 and 1930

Maria Franziska Kipp (1889 - 1943) was the daughter of Friederich Kipp (1859-1928), granddaughter of Adelheidis Gertrudis Lübbering (1819-?), and great granddaughter of Maria Adelheidis Nieland (1793-1861). She married Johann Bernard Könning (1887-1968), shown here in his railroad uniform. This branch of the Nieland family tree remained in Gemen (near Borken) for many generations after the other Nielands moved a few kilometers north to Südlohn.
