This postcard is a souvenir of the annual pilgrimage by St. Walburga parish in Ramsdorf to the town of Kevelaer. Even today the parishoners still travel to Kevelaer once a year, where they pray to the Holy Mother Mary. Kevelaer is located 75 km southwest of Ramsdorf in the region called "Niederrhein".

Several of our family members can be seen in the photograph. We see Josefa Nieland (1907-1982), Bernardine Elizabeth Nieland (1941-1993) and Paula Elizabeth Nieland (1904-1991). Are there others?
