Mrs. Christine Pappe of Union City, Dies

Mrs. Christine Pappe, Union City, died early today in an Oklahoma City hospital.

Mrs. Pappe was born Feb. 15, 1871 at Harteslaven, Denmark, and came to the United States in 1881.  She moved to Union City from Omaha, Neb., in 1904.

Survivors include a son, Richard of Union City; two step-daughters, Mrs. Katherine Hild, Lincoln, Neb., and Mrs. Emma Hurst, Long Beach, Calif.; two step-sons, George Pappe, Wilder, Idaho, and Karl Pappe, Union City; a brother, Yens Beck, Hamburg, Germany; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the Methodist church at Union City with Rev. J. G. Anderson, pastor of the Ellison Avenue Methodist church in El Reno, officiating.  Burial will be in the Union City cemetery under direction of the Wilson funeral home.
