Robert C. Jersak, DDS

Dr. Robert C. Jersak, 87, passed away in his home on Sunday, March 14, after a brief illness.

Robert was born on February 8, 1923, in Kingfisher, Oklahoma, and was a graduate of Kansas City-Western Dental College, now UMKC School of Dentistry and practiced in Springfield for nearly 50 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife Betty, whom he married in 1949; and his brother, William.

Surviving are a sister, Louise Galloway; sons, Robert Jr. and his wife Darlyne, Douglas and his wife Maureen; a daughter, Kathryn and her husband Frank Petkovich; and a son, Joseph and his wife Helena. Also surviving are grandsons, Ben, Sam, and Max Jersak and Michael Petkovich; as well as granddaughters, Martha and Laura Petkovich.

A graveside service for family and friends is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 18, in Hazelwood Cemetery under the direction of Gorman-Scharpf.
