Louise Marie Pappe (Jersak) (1892-1996)

Louise Jersak

Louise Marie Jersak, 93, Springfield, died Tuesday at 1:10 p.m. in Maranatha Manor after a 6-year illness.

Born in Kingfisher, Okla., Mrs. Jersak had been a resident of Springfield for the past 30 years and a member of St. John's United Church of Christ.

Survivors include one daughter, Dr. Louise Gallaway, Brunswick, Ga.; two sons, Dr. William R. Jersak, Reeds Spring and Dr. Robert C. Jersak, Springfield, 11 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. in Klingner Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Earl Potts officiating. Burial will be in Hazelwood Cemetery.

Louise Marie Pappe
 

Paul Eric Jersak (1958-1986)

Memorial services for Paul Jersak, 28, Friendswood, Texas, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in St. Christopher's Episcopal Church, League City, Texas, with the Rev. Walter L. Ellis officiating.

Paul was presumed dead after an extensive Coast Guard search following a boating accident while fishing in the Gulf of Mexico.

A 1976 Glendale graduate, he had been employed with the Shell Oil Co. since graduating Magnum Cum Laude from the University of Arkansas. He was the current senior purchasing analyst with the Shell Oil Co. in Texas. Paul is survived by his wife, Gay; his parents, Dr. William R. and Nell Jersak, Reeds Spring; two sisters, Louise Grisham, Phoenix Ariz., and Nancy Henderson, Kimberling City; a brother, Richard, Nixa; six nieces and two nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Southwest Missouri Humane Society or to the charity of the donor's choice.

Clara Pappe

Clara Pappe (1897-1906)

Death of a Young Girl

Clara, the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. Pappe, died at 7:45 Monday morning. Her illness was very brief and her death came so suddenly as to be a doubly severe shock to her family for that reason. Her death was due to a sever form of throat trouble. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the German Evangelical church in this city, followed by interment in the city cemetery.

Clara was a bright and lovable child and had a way of endearing herself to the hearts of all who knew her. Her age was 9 years, 2 months and 23 days. Her parents, playmates and friends have sustained an irreparable loss in her departure to that other world and they have the sincere sympathy of all in their hour of sorrow.

George Edward Pappe (1927-1996)

George Pappe, 68, of Kingfisher died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 1996, at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Kingfisher Church of Christ with Lloyd J. Unsell, minister, officiating.

Burial will be at Kingfisher Cemetery under direction of Sanders Funeral Service.

He was born June 27, 1927, in Kingfisher to Court and Mary Drake Pappe.

He lived in Kingfisher all his life except for a tour of duty in the U.S. Navy from 1944 to 1945.

He and Dawn Maynord were married on Oct. 21, 1944, in El Reno.

He worked for the Oklahoma State Highway Department in the right-of-way division. He was a member of the Kingfisher Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Dawn, of the home; two daughters, Donna Thomas of Kingfisher and Anita Hoskins of Lawrenceville, Ga.; two sons, John and Charles Pappe, both of Kingfisher; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Michael Allen Pappe (1958-2004)

Funeral services for Michael Allen “Mike” Pappe of Union City were held Tuesday, March 2, 2004, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Union City with Rev. Sonja Tobey of Union City United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in the Union City Cemetery. Services were under direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home of El Reno.

Mr. Pappe left this world to live with the Lord on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2004, in Reno, Nev., after a lengthy illness. He was born Dec. 24, 1958, in El Reno to Albert W. and Martha (Dixon) Pappe. He had lived in Union City all his life. He graduated from Union City High School in 1977 where he was a member of the Union City FFA. He went on to Canadian Valley Technology Center for two years and became a licensed electrician. He was a farmer and rancher for many years. He was a former member of the Union City Lions Club, member of the Minco Ag Boosters, served as president of the Union City Cemetery Board since 1998 and member of Union City United Methodist Church. He participated in many other community and town activities throughout his life. He married Tracy Thomas in Eureka Springs, Ark.

He was preceded in death by his father, Albert W. Pappe.

He is survived by his mother, Martha Pappe of Union City; his wife, Tracy, a son, Jimmy Pappe, and stepdaughters, Kasey, Brittany and Courtney Vickers, all of the home; an uncle, Raymond Pappe and wife, Shirley of Oklahoma City; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Durward Pappe

Durward Belmont Pappe (1916 - 2004)

Graveside services for Durward B. Pappe of Union City were held Wednesday, Feb. 25 in the Union City Cemetery with Dr Burrel McNaught, associate pastor of Wesley United Methodist Church in El Reno, officiating. Services were under direction of Wilson Funeral Rome.

Mr. Pappe died Saturday, Feb. 21, 2004, at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center Presbyterian Tower in Oklahoma City He was born Nov. 29, 1916, in El Reno. He attended Pleasant Hill rural school and also attended the Union City Methodist Church. He had worked on the family farm for several years. In 1955 Mr. Pappe moved to Enid where he resided at the Enid State School. He moved to Oklahoma City in September 1974 where he resided at the living center's workshop for 10 years where he sorted and packaged industrial materials.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Karl and Rena (Lance) Pappe, and other relatives.

Survivors include numerous cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Mary Louise Pappe (Altizer) (1911 - 2005)

Mary Louise Altizer, 94, lifelong resident of Kingfisher, Oklahoma died Sunday, July 17, 2005 at Kingfisher Regional Hospital.

A graveside service was held Friday, August 26, 2005 in the Kingfisher cemetery with Rev. Shane Rackley officiating.

She was born April 15, 1911, in Kingfisher to Art and Violet Major Pappe.

She married Joseph Dale Altizer on December 24, 1929. He proceeded her in death on February 14, 1998.

She attended Kingfisher High School.

She and her husband owned and operated the Apco Cafe from 1952-1978. They built the Timberlodge Steak House in 1962, operating it for seven years.

Survivors include one son, Charles Altizer of Mesa Arizona: 3 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers, Charles Pappe and Max Pappe.
