Richard
Pappe Jr. was the son of Richard Pappe Sr. and Louise Kornrumpf.
He was born and raised in Kingfisher, OK, and lived there all
his life. Richard attended Oklahoma University in Stillwater before
becoming a grocer and successful businessman in Kingfisher. He
and his wife, Ester Kirby, raised two children. Richard Jr. was
known to his children and grandchildren as "Pop" and
to other relatives as "Uncle Dick".
