Edward Hoebing was born on 28 August 1890 at Carroll County, Iowa. He married Mary Lenz but we do not know the date or place of the marriage. He later married Rose Nolte but we do not know the date or place of the marriage.

He appeared in the Federal Census of 1920 at Canadian County, Oklahoma. Edward B. (29) is enumerated on a farm in Cement Township with his wife Mary (27) and children Eugene (7), Frank (7), Virgil (5), Ancel (2 4/12) and Rachel (2/12). Edward was born in Iowa and his father in Illinois and mother in Germany. Mary was born "at home", her father in Rhineland and her mother in Missouri. The children were born in Oklahoma.

He appeared in the Federal Census of 1930 at Canadian County, Oklahoma. Edward B. (39) is enumerated on a farm in Cement Township with his wife, Mary (36) and children Eugene F. (17), Virgil N. (14), Ancel Z. (12), Rachael (10), Colette (5) and Victor H. (1 5/12). Edward was born in Iowa, with his father born in Illinois and mother in Germany. The couple has been married for 18 years and they own their farm. They do not have a radio. Mary was born in Arkansas, with her father born in Germany and her mother in Illinois. The children were born in Oklahoma.

Edward died on 5 May 1959 at age 68 in Okarche, Kingfisher County, Oklahoma. He was buried at Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery in Okarche, Kingfisher County, Oklahoma.

Mary Lenz was born on 22 November 1893.

The children of Edward Hoebing and Mary Lenz were the following:

1) Eugene was born on 24 September 1912. He died in July 1972 at Shawnee, Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma, at age 59. SSDI lists birth date as 24 Sep 1911.
2) Virgil was born on 18 June 1915. He died on 17 July 1945 at age 30 (WWII in France)
3) Ancel was born 1 August 1917. He died on 22 June 1978 at Okarche, Kingfisher County, Oklahoma at age 60. He was buried at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Okarche, Canadian County, Oklahoma.
4) Rachel was born on 11 September 1919. She died on 16 December 1994 at Lewisville, Denton County, Texas, at age 75.
5) Johanna was born on 18 December 1921. She died on 13 April 1923 at age 1.

7) Victor.

Mary died on 17 July 1949 at age 55. She was buried at Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery, Okarche, Kingfisher County, Oklahoma.
