The daughter of John Henry Nieland and Hendrina Testrote (John Henry, Joannes Daniel, Joannes Bernardus, Johann Daniel, Berndt Nilandt, Earliest Nieland)

Johanna Maria Adelheid Nieland was baptized on 11 April 1811. She may have married Johann Gerhard Hösing on September 6, 1831. Johanna Maria Nieland (19) is listed as the bride of Johann Gerhard Hösing (38) in the Marriage Book of St. Vitus Catholic Church in Südlohn, Westphalia. Her father is listed as Johann Nieland. There are many Hösings in the records from St. Vitus Catholic Church in Südlohn. Records found in the Baptism book of Saint Vitus show that Johanna Maria and Johann Gerhard Hösing had at least two children.

Johann Gerhard Hösing is listed as 38 years old in the marriage records of September 1831. His estimated birth year is 1793.

The children of Johanna Maria Adelheid Nieland and Johann Gerhard Hösing, all baptized at Südlohn, Westphalia, Prussia, were the following:

1) Johann Henrich, baptized 19 October 1831, godparents were Johann Henrich ?King and Hendrina Testrote Nieland. Hendrina did not die until the next year, so this might be Johanna's mother.
2) Antonius Franciscus, baptized 20 May 1833.

The death date of Johann Gerhard Hösing has not yet been found.
