The daughter of Maria Anna Nieland and Gerhard Boes (Maria Anna Nieland, John Henry, John Henry, Joannes Daniel, Joannes Bernardus, Johann Daniel Nieland, Berndt Nilandt, Earliest Nieland)

Mary Dorothy Boes (Dora) was born on 8 October 1879 at Sac County, Iowa. She married Henry Bernard Mueggenborg on 5 February 1901 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Breda, Carroll, Iowa.

The husband of Mary Dorothy Boes (1879-1950)

Henry Bernard Mueggenborg (Bernard Heinrich Müggenborg), son of Wilhelm Josef Müggenborg and Maria Katherine Hoebing (Maria Christina Höbing), was born on 24 March 1875 at Weseke, (Kreis-Borken, Westphalia, Germany.

He immigrated in 1894 to United States. Henry is listed in the Ellis Island data as a German who arrived May 30, 1894 at 19 years 2 months and a single man. He traveled on the ship Westerland from Antrwerp, Belgium. The Ellis Island index spells the name Hunrich Muggenberg.

He appeared on the Federal census of 1900 at Carroll County, Iowa, Carroll. Henry (25) is enumerated on a farm in Kniest Township as the hired man for M. Reif (32). He lives with Mr. and Mrs. Reiff and their 5 children. He is listed as a German immigrant who arrived in 1894 and he is a naturalized citizen.

4) Leonard Conrad. was born on 27 February 1907 at Iowa. He died on 28 September 1993 at Okarche, Kingfisher County, Oklahoma, at age 86. He was buried in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery, Okarche, Canadian County, Oklahoma.
5) Angeline Christine was born 30 January 1912 at Oklahoma. She died on 3 September 1992 at Okarche, Kingfisher County, Oklahoma at age 80. She was buried in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery, Okarche, Canadian County, Oklahoma.
6) Vincent George, born 20 August 1915 at Oklahoma. He died on 19 November 1977 at age 62. He was buried at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Okarche, Canadian County, Oklahoma. He was buried in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery, Okarche, Canadian County, Oklahoma.
7) Peter Edward was born 1 July 1917 at Oklahoma. He died on 16 June 1994 at Kingfisher, Kingfisher County, Oklahoma at age 76. He was buried in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery, Okarche, Canadian County, Oklahoma.
