Chaplain Ione C Nieland

Ione Nieland is the daughter of Andrew and Caroline (Staiert) Nieland and great granddaughter of Henry and Anna (Köster) Nieland. She is a Catholic chaplain and is certified by the the National Association of Catholic chaplains and endorsed by the United States Catholic conference. She received ecclesiastical endorsement from the bishops of the dioceses in which she ministered in teaching, healing and leadership – Boise, ID; Denver, CO; Halena, MT; Fargo, ND; and Peoria, IL. She has a B.A. degree in education, an M.A. in psychology and counseling, advanced status in clinical pastoral education, and is qualified as a spiritual director. Ione Nieland is co-author of the book, Touching God, published by Ave Maria Press.
