Mary Koester  (1906 - 1984)
Sister Mary Fidelma, FSPA

Mary Koester was the daughter of William and Christina (Wibben) Koester and the niece of Anna (Köster) Nieland. She was born and raised in Willey, Iowa. She entered the convent on June 28, 1927, taking the religious name of Sister Mary Fidelma. Sister Fidelma served in various convents in Wisconsin and Iowa and retired to Villa St. Joseph in 1976.
