Clair Boes Read First Mass This Morning

Rev. Father Clair L. Boes celebrated his First Solemn
High Mass of Thanksgiving at 10:30 o'clock this morning in St.
Bernard's Church Breda Iowa. He was ordained to the Priesthood
for the Sioux City Diocese on April 3, 1965, in St. Paul Church
of Innsbruck Austria by his Excellency Paul Rusch DD.
The officers of the solemn High Mass this morning
were as follows: Father Clair Boes Celebrant; Rt. Rev. Msgr. Joseph
J. Dalhoff, Archpriest, Father Norbert Boes, Deacon, Father Marvin
J. Boes, Sub-Deacon; Father LeRoy Frank, Master of Ceremonies.
Father Frank Brady gave the sermon. Father John P. Hausmann is
Pastor of St. Bernard's.
Following the Solemn Mass, Dinner was served at
twelve o'clock for the visiting priests, relatives and friends
in the High School Auditorium. A reception open to the public
at which Father Boes will give his first priestly blessing will
be held in the Auditorium tonight starting at 7:00 o'clock.
Rev. Father Clair Boes is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. William Boes.
