German Visitors in Breda over Easter
The Breda News, April 9, 1975
Antonius Finke of Borken, West Germany [son of Bernard
Finke, grandson of Maria Bernardine Nieland] and Manfred Belok
of Muenster, West Germany, arrived in the Breda area March 28.
They accompanied Sister Pauline Wittry from Chicago. While here
they were David Nieland's guests in the Louis Nieland home.
They were dinner guests of the following: Mr. and
Mrs. Julius Boes; Mr. and Mrs. Louis Nieland; Mrs. Anna Wittry;
Mary Nieland; Mr. and Mrs. Herman Nieland; Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence
Nieland and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Huegerich.
They also visited the following homes on different
occasions: Roger Nielands, Paul Nielands, Ben Nielands, Bill Boes,
Leo Buelts, and Fr. J. Charles Yetmar, all of Breda; The John
Nieland home in Auburn. In Carroll they visited with Will Nieland,
Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hackfort, Mrs. Art Minnich, John Wagner, Mr.
and Mrs. Frank Balk, Joe Gronstal, Robert Bruner and Mr. and Mrs.
Jerome Hannasch. They were guests of Bob Blincow at St. Anthony
Regional Hospital.
Antonius is a cousin of the Nieland-Boes families.
The men are students at the University of Muenster in Muenster,
Germany.
They left last Wednesday with Sister Pauline. They
drove to LaCrosse, Wis., then on to Chicago.
