Alphonse Henry Mueggenborg 1904-1982

Alphonse H. Mueggenborg, 78, of Okarche died Monday
morning in Okarche Memorial hospital.
Recitation of the Rosary was at 7 p.m. Wednesday in
the Holy Trinity Catholic church in Okarche with funeral Mass there
at 10: 30 a.m. Thursday with Rev. Charles Beckman officiating. Burial
was in the Holy Trinity cemetery under the direction of the Sanders
Funeral Service of Kingfisher.
He was born April 11, 1904, in Breda, Iowa, the son
of Henry and Dora Mueggenborg, and had lived in Okarche since 1907.
He and Emma Huck were married August 16, 1933, in
El Reno. Mueggenborg was a retired farmer and a member of the Holy
Trinity Catholic church.
He is survived by his wife Emma of the home, two sons,
Donald Mueggenborg of Oklahoma City and Harold Mueggenborg of Okarche;
two daughters, Caroline (Mrs. Tom) Barrett of Bethany, and Christina
(Mrs. Kermit) Kuslzer of Kingfisher; 14 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren;
4 brothers. Leonard Mueggenborg of Okarche, Pete Mueggenborg of
Kingfisher, Paul Mueggenborg of Stillwater, and Tony Mueggenborg
of Yale; two sisters, Mrs. Augusta Rother and Mrs. Angeline Meyer,
both of Okarche.
Mueggenborg's family has suggested that those who
wish, make contributions in his memory to the Center of Family Love
or the Okarche Memorial hospital.
