Mrs. Ronald (Amelia) Schulte, 64, of 126 West Eighteenth Street, died at her home at 7 a.m. Saturday, March 19.

Mass of the Christian Burial was concelebrated at 1:30 p.m. Monday, March 21, at St. Lawrence church by the Revs. Lawrence McCarty and Paul-Louis Arts. A granddaughter, Carla Hinners, was lector; gift-bearers were grandchildren: Susan, Michael, Lori and Brett Schultes; Chris McConville and Ann Haberl and mass-servers were grandsons: John Hinners, Doug and Dan Baumhover. Burial, under the direction of the Sharp Funeral Home of Carroll, was in St. Ann parish cemetery at Vail. Serving as casket bearers were nephews: Steve Sander, Dale Berger, Richard Huegerich, Eugene Huegerich, Ronald Huegerich and Dennis Sander.

Mrs. Schulte is survived by her husband, Ronald, Carroll; five daughters: Mrs. Leonard (Janet) Baumhover, Audubon; Mrs. Jack (Lois) Hinners, Halbur; Mrs. Duane (Margaret) McConville, Des Moines; Mrs. Ed (Annette) Haberl, Carroll, and Mrs. Lee (Kathy) Stein, Carroll; five sons: Ralph, Fort Dodge; Leon, Westside; Myron, Independence; Joseph, Muscatine, and Gary Schulte, Westside; 34 grandchildren; two brothers: Lawrence, Breda, and Leo Huegerich, Carroll, and two sisters: Mrs. Tony (Frances) Sander, Arcadia, and Mrs. Othmar (Marita) Berger, Westside.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Clarence and Ed Huegerich.

Mrs. Schulte was born December 13, 1918, at Mount Carmel, a daughter of George and Mary Huelsing Huegerich. She spent her early years in the Mount Carmel area which she attended Our Lady of Mount Carmel school. On November 14, 1939, she was married to Ronald Schulte at Our Lady of Mount Carmel church with the Rev. Loeffelholz officiating.

After their marriage, they farmed near Breda until 1947 when they moved to a farm in the Westside-Vail area. They retired in 1980 and moved to their present address in Carroll. She was a member of St. Lawrence parish, the Ladies Guild and the Legion of Mary and the St. Ann church Alter Society.
