Anita Faye Brotherton (Reising) 1915-1980 The Carroll Herald, October 1980 WALL LAKE—Mrs. Lawrence (Anita) Reising, 65, of Wall Lake, died Monday, Oct. 27, at Loring Hospital in Sac City. She had been a secretary for the Thevenot TV and Appliance store in Wall Lake and formerly had been employed by Heisterkamp's in Breda. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, at St. Joseph's Catholic church here with Msgr. J.E. Tolan officiating. Burial will be in the Wall Lake Cemetery. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Dudley (Jonell) Owen, Audubon; Mary Reising, Humbolt; Lyle Reising, Omaha; Donald Lynn Reising, Altoona, Anita Reising, Temple, Tex., and Laverne Reising, Colorado Springs, Colo.; 14 grandchildren; three brothers; Howard, Wall Lake; Roland, Motley, Minn., and Stanley Brotherton, Blue Earth, Minn.; two sisters; Mrs. Lois Little, Reseda, Calif., and Mrs. Robert (Edna) Williams, Terra Bella, Calif. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter Joanne Marie and a sister Lucille. Mrs. Reising was born at Remsen Jan. 27, 1915, a daughter of Clarence and Josephine Kieffer Brotherton.
