Anthony Paul "Tony" Schreier 1954-1991 from the funeral card provided by Earnest & Roethler Funeral Chapel Tony Schreier was born August 9, 1954 at LeMars, [Iowa], the son of Gilbert and Margaret (Braun) Schreier. He grew up in the Marcus area and graduated from St. Mary's Catholic High School in Remsen in 1973. He married Sheila Brownmiller on September 3, 1982 in Marcus. He worked for John Sand in his farming operation and for Brownmiller trucking. He had been operating Schreier Trucking Company, which he started in 1980. Tony worked hard, played hard, and was a friend to all. Tony and Sheila realized a lifetime dream this past year when they moved to their acreage east of Marcus. Survivors include his wife; a son, Neal and daughter, Jaci. Both at home, his brothers, Dave, Dale, Dan, all of Marcus and Tom of Nisswa, Minn.; two sisters, Barb Schreier of Omaha, Nebr. And Pat Potter of Nisswa, Minn. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret on September 26, 1976. Mr. Schreier died Saturday, June 29, 1991, of injuries he received in an accident at his rural Marcus residence.
