The Carroll Daily Times Herald, Carroll, Iowa, November 22, 2010 Cornelia “Connie” Catherine Terlisner, 96, of Tucson, Ariz., formerly of Carroll, died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010. A Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 29, 2010, at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church in Tucson, Ariz. Burial will be in Holy Hope Cemetery in Tucson, Ariz. Cornelia was born Oct. 22, 1914, at Wall Lake, to Ben and Elizabeth (Boes) Steinkamp. She married Paul Terlisner on Jan. 31, 1938, at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Breda. Survivors include her sons Ronnie (Ginny) Terlisner of Mason City, Gary (Gail) Terlisner of Sierra Vista, Ariz., Tom (Julie) Terlisner of Vail, Ariz., and Ken (Mic) Terlisner of Ankeny; daughters Bonnie Haifley of Tucson, Ariz., Carol Cates of Marana, Ariz., Linda (Vernon) Renze of Carroll, Sandy Flores of Tucson, and Peggy Terlisner of Tucson; 19 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul in 1999; two sons-in- law Ira Haifley and Rick Cates, and brothers and sisters Ted Steinkamp, Lawrence Steinkamp, Caroline Reis, Julie Thobe, Ida Ludwig, and Teresa Steinkamp.
