The Carroll Times Harold, February 1989 LAKE VIEW - Mass of the Christian burial for Edna Ziegmann, 75, of Lake View will be Saturday, Feb. 26, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wall Lake. Mrs. Ziegmann died Wednesday, February 22, at Manning General Hospital in Manning. Burial will be at the Wall Lake Cemetery. Mrs. Ziegmann was born Nov. 13, 1913, at Carroll, the daughter of Joseph and Appolonia (Waltz) Boes. She attended school at Breda. On May 22, 1934, she married Arnold Ziegmann at Breda. In their early married life, they lived in the Wall Lake and Early area. She had lived in Lake View for the last 40 years. Survivors include three sons. Marvin Ziegmann of Wall Lake, Clarence Ziegmann of Breda and Duane Ziegmann of Aurora, Colo.; two daughters, Jeanette (Mrs. James) Slavin of Omaha, Neb., and Violet (Mrs. Raymond) Falasco of Ann Arbor, Mich., 13 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three brothers, Cyril Boes of Fontanelle, Vincent Boes of Wisconsin, and Rufus Boes of Carroll; five sisters, Ermina, (Mrs. Will) Trammel, Johanna (Mrs. Paul) Doyle and Annabelle (Mrs. Ray) While, all of Des Moines, Alvina Eischeid of Bayard and Hilda (Mrs. Joe) Laha of Muscatine. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a son, Lawrence.
