Okarche Chieftain, Thursday, December 23, 1960 George Hoebing, 74, Chickasha, and former Okarche farmer and businessman, died Friday morning at St. John's Hospital in Tulsa following a 5 months illness. Funeral services were held at 9 am Monday in the Catholic Church in Chickasha, with burial in the cemetery there. Mr. Hoebing was born at Breda, IA and came to Okarche in 1901. He was a brother of the late Ed and Leonard Hoebing. Prior to entering a business in Chickasha, he was a farmer and businessman in Okarche. Survivors include his wife, Margie, of the home, one grandson, Dr. George Ishler of Tulsa, one sister, Mrs. Frances Bosold of Early, IA, and one son-in-law, Mr. Shelby Ishler of Chickasha, and a number of nieces and nephews. Relatives from a distance attending the funeral were Mrs. Frances Bosold, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Naberhaus and Mr. and Mrs. Al Damm of Early, IA, and Joe, Leonard, and Eugene Schettler of Breda, IA.
