The Kingfisher Times and Free Press, December 30, 2009 Helen Catherine Mueggenborg, 90, lifelong resident of Okarche, died Dec. 27, 2009, at Select Speciality Hospital in Oklahoma City. A prayer service was held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29. Mass of Christian Burial was set for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, with both services at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Okarche with the Revs. Marvin Leven and David Lafferty and Deacon Max Schwarz officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery under direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home in El Reno. She was born June 16, 1919, in Okarche. She married William E. Mueggenborg on Aug. 12, 1941. He preceded her in death on Aug. 31, 1986. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Altar Society and Busy Bee Home Extension Club, serving as president of both organizations. Survivors include five sons, Tom and wife Jocelyn of Hampton, Va., Larry and wife Brenda of Park City, Utah, Mike and wife Carol of Okarche, Dennis and wife Debbie of Bartlesville and Keith and wife Bonnye of Okarche; one daughter, Mary Howard of Yukon; one sister, Virginia and husband Ben Walker of Carrier; one brother, Francis “Abe” and wife Margene Naberhaus of Okarche; 16 grandchildren, Alex and Mary Mueggenborg, Tami and Mike Masters, Lara Mueggenborg, Brad and Alissa Mueggenborg, Shelly and Jeff West, Voni and David Bentacourt, Wesley Heupel, Greg and Shannon Mueggen-borg, Jeff and Tess Mueggen-borg, Kyle and Paulette Howard, Jennifer and Brian Lujan, Shellie Howard, Kirstin Mueggenborg, Beau Mueggenborg, Sarah Mueggenborg and William Mueggenborg, and 13 great-grandchildren, Kaitlin West, Madison West, Tanner Benta-court, Lauren Bentacourt, Morgan Bentacourt, John Mueggenborg, Samantha Mueggenborg, Jessica Howard, Barrett Howard, Paytyn Howard, Dane Lujan, Cole Lujan and Max Howard. She was preceded in death by her husband, William; parents, Joseph and Mary (Schulte) Naberhaus; stepmother, Clara Naberhaus; three brothers, William, Lawrence and Elmer Naberhaus; five sisters, Anna Eischen, Marie Wiewel, Leona Schaefer, Lucille Vian and Jeannette Bell.
