Henry G. Steinkamp 1910-1989 The Breda News, June 1989 Mass of the Christian burial for Henry G. Steinkamp will be celebrated Tuesday, June 20, at Holy Spirit Church in Carroll. Mr. Steinkamp, 79, of Carroll, died suddenly at his home Saturday, June 17, 1989. The Rev. Clair Boes will be celebrant at the Mass. Lector will be Kris Steinkamp. Mass servers will be Todd Steinkamp and Jason Sturm. Gift bearers will be Dana Venteicher, and Jeff, Craig, Tom, Steve and Chad Steinkamp. Casket bearers will be grandsons, Lynn, Kurt, and Dean Venteicher, and Jeff, Craig, Tom, Steve and Chad Steinkamp. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Carroll. Born April 10, 1910, in Sac County, Mr. Steinkamp was a son of Henry Sr. and Rose (Roesner) Steinkamp. He attended school in Breda. On June 8, 1935, he was married to Eleanora Boes at St. Bernard's Church in Breda by the Rev. Edgar Schleyer. Mr. Steinkamp farmed seven miles northwest of Breda until 1957 and then farmed 3 ½ miles southeast of Carroll until retiring in 1976. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Holy Spirit Men's Club and Farm Bureau.
