James Anthony Roberts 1933-2007
Visitation: 4-7PM August 26, 2007 at Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Sauk Rapids Private family services will be Monday at Dingmann Family Funeral Home for James “Jim” Roberts, age 73, of Sauk Rapids, who died Thursday [August 23, 2007] at the St. Cloud Hospital. Burial will be at Benton Cemetery in Sauk Rapids. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Sunday at Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids. Jim was born October 2, 1933 in Sauk Rapids to Henry & Clara (Nieland) Roberts. He married Joyce Repulski in Sauk Rapids on October 15, 1955. He has lived in Sauk Rapids his entire life. Jim and his son owned and operated a carpet cleaning business for over 40 years. He is survived by his wife Joyce of Sauk Rapids; daughter, Jayne (Keith) Ritter of Sauk Rapids; son, Jeff of Rice; grandchildren, Derek Brinkman of Sauk Rapids, Brett Ritter of Sauk Rapids, Stephanie Ritter of Eau Claire, WI; sister, Beverly Nathe of Avon; and his beloved dog, Gizzie. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Viola Barthelemy, Opal Waltzing, Bernice Heinen, and Jean Marose. Special thanks to Dr. Schuster, Progressive Care Unit & the ICU staff at the St. Cloud Hospital.
