Kevin D. O’Tool 1982-1996 The Carroll Daily Times Herald, September 17, 1996 Funeral services for Kevin D. O’Tool will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, 1996, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Glenwood, Iowa. Mr. O’Tool, 13, of Emerson, Iowa, and his father Daryl J. O’Tool, died Saturday, Sept. 14, when a pickup truck driven by Daryl O’Tool collided with and Amtrak train in Sarpy County, Neb. Born Oct. 8, 1982, in Red Oak, Iowa, Mr. O’Tool was a son of Daryl and Sheila (Reiling) O’Tool. He was an eighth-grader at Nishna Valley School, where he was active in chorus, football, basketball and track. He was a member of Holy Rosary Church. Mr. O’Tool is survived by his mother, Sheila O’Tool, of Emerson; his sister, Erin O’Tool, of Emerson; his brother, Shaun O’Tool, of Omaha, Neb.; his grandparents, Iola Hoogestraat and Rosina O’Tool, both of Carroll.
