Lawrence Frederick Frischmeyer 1922-1986

Mass of the Christian Burial for Lawrence F. Frischmeyer, 64, of Route 1, Carroll, will be held Saturday, July 5, at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Spirit Church in Carroll with the Rev. Mervin Hood officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Carroll.

Casket-bearers will be Robert Fisher, Mike Soyer, Mark Soyer, Marvin Frischmeyer, Gene Tigges and Darrell Venteicher. Gift-bearers will be Kelly Mescher and Pamela Frischmeyer.

Friends may call after 2:30 p.m. Friday at Twit Funeral Home in Carroll. A rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. Friday, and a rosary will be recited by the Knights of Columbus at 8 p.m. Friday. A Scriptural prayer service will be conducted at 8:45 p.m. Friday.

Mr. Frischmeyer died Tuesday, July 1, at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll.

Surviving are his wife, Irma Frischmeyer of Carroll; one son, Michael, of Fort Dodge; six daughters, Linda Frischmeyer of Davenport, Diane Frischmeyer of Omaha, Neb., Patricia Frischmeyer of Chicago, Ill., Karen Frischmeyer of Ames, Mrs. Alice Weander of Omaha and Mrs. Marie Domino of North Liberty; one brother, Leonard Frischmeyer of Glidden; and one sister, Mrs. Margaret Stangl of Webb.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Frischmeyer was born May, 15, 1922, in Carroll, the son of Joseph and Elizabeth Lappe Frischmeyer. He attended Sts. Peter and Paul Grade School in Carroll. He married Irma Schettler on Feb. 19, 1952, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, with the Rev. P.M. Sturm officiating.

Mr. Frischmeyer was a farmer and cattle feeder. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
