MUEGGENBORG SERVICES HELD MONDAY

The funeral of Mrs. Margaret Mueggenborg, 81, of Okarche was held this Monday morning in Holy Trinity Catholic Church at Okarche, with Rev. Francis Helderle officiating. Burial was made in Holy Trinity cemetery here.

Mrs. Mueggenborg died early Friday morning in the Okarche hospital after an extended illness.

She was born in Breda, Iowa, September 11, 1881, and moved to Okarche in 1907. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and the Altar society at Holy Trinity Catholic church.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Anna Voss and Mrs. Fred Voss, both of Okarche, and Mrs. Frank Gruntmeir of Kingfisher; two sons, Albert and William, Okarche, two sisters, Mrs. Jacob Wittry, Breda, Iowa, and Sister Mary Sigmunda, Spokane, Wash.; five brothers, William and Joe Nieland of Carroll, Iowa, and Ben, Louis and Herman Nieland all of Wall Lake, Iowa; 28 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.

Many out-of-town relatives were in Okarche Wednesday, to attend the funeral of Mrs. Maggie Mueggenborg at 9 a.m. Monday at Holy Trinity Church.

Father Gerald Rosecrants of St. Francis Seminary, Oklahoma City and Father Edward Voegele of Kingfisher, were in the sanctuary for the Requiem Mass and cemetery rites.
