A wake service was held at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13, 2012, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Monsignor Edward Weisenburger, Father Marvin Leven and Deacon Max Schwarz officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service in Kingfisher.

She was born Nov. 17, 1927, on a Kingfisher County farm to Felta and Zeta Snethen Yost.

She attended grade school at Park Community and Omega, graduating from Kingfisher High School in 1944. She then attended college at Oklahoma College of Women in Chickasha (USAO) and later Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical College in Stillwater.

After returning home she worked as deputy county treasurer of Kingfisher County until she married. She married Herbert J. Wittrock on Oct. 21, 1947, in Holy Trinity Church.

Into this marriage they adopted three children: Nancy Ann, David Joseph and Jane Marie. Herbert died on May 17, 1980.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Church, Catholic Daughters of America, Holy Trinity Altar Society and Happy Homemakers.

Surviving children are Nancy Copeland and husband Jerry of Kingfisher, David Wittrock and wife Debbie of Okarche and Jane Wittrock of El Reno. She is also survived by five granddaughters, Christin Crosswhite and husband Jeremiah of Kingfisher, Kerri King and husband Brian of Broken Arrow, Julie Wittrock of Oklahoma City, Jaren Allen and husband Kyle of Yukon and Jenni Wittrock of Okarche, and four great-grandchildren, Hailey and Riley Crosswhite, Kooper Allen and Ella King.
