FORT DODGE—Funeral services are scheduled here Wednesday for Mrs. William A. Kramer. 27. the former Marilyn Leiting, Arcadia, who died early Sunday of self-inflicted knife wounds.
Mrs. Kramer was found dead in her home at 916 South 15th Street early Sunday by her husband.
Dr. James E. Reed. Fort Dodge, acting Webster County medical examiner, said death was caused by the self-inflicted wounds.
Last rites will include a service in the Colonial Chapel of Laufersweiler Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, and a requiem mass at Sacred Heart Church, Fort Dodge, at 11 a. m. Wednesday. The Rev. Robert Leiting, Denison, brother of the deceased, will officiate at the mass. Burial will be in Corpus Christi Cemetery in Fort Dodge. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Monday. Rosaries are scheduled for 8 p.m. Monday, 4 p.m. Tuesday and 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Mrs. Kramer is survived by her husband, three small children Karen, Richard and Kevin, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Leiting, Arcadia, and by six sisters and three brothers. Brothers include the Rev. Leiting, Glenn of Breda and Bruce of Arcadia. Sisters include Mrs. LeRoy Nasby, St. Charles, Mo.; Mrs. Kenneth Winker, Mountain Lake, Minn.; Mrs. Dave Reinemund, San Antonio, Texas; Mrs. Thomas Sporrer, Manning; Mrs. David Quinlan, Arcadia; and Miss Joan Leiting, Arcadia.
The deceased was born in Carroll, attended St. John's grade school in Arcadia and graduated from Kuemper High School in Carroll. She was married in 1963.
Relatives said Mrs. Kramer had been under medical care for the past two years following the loss of a child.
