Milo Olerich 1924-1965

SCRANTON—Milo Olerich, 41, Scranton, owner and operator of Milo Olerich Construction Company, died at 3:30 a.m. Sunday, July 11, at St. Anthony Hospital in Carroll after a lingering illness.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Huffman Funeral Home in Glidden. The Rev. Ivan Rose will officiate; and burial will be in the Carroll City Cemetery.

Mr. Olerich, a carpenter, was born May 22, 1924, near Breda, a son of Earl and Tena Ford Olerich. He received his education in the Lanesboro schools, and came to Carroll County and the Glidden vicinity in 1944. His marriage to Janice Reis took place Sept. 7, 1949, at Carroll.

For several years, Mr. Olerich was a fireman at Ralston. He belonged to the Elks' Lodge atCarroll.

Survivors include his wife; five children, Allan, Linn, Rickey, Kathy and Dean, all at home; three brothers, Arnold, Dallas, Tex.; Vincent, Seattle, Wash.; and Elmer, Richland, Wash.; and one sister, Mrs. Kenneth (Thelma) Huisenga, Carroll.

The Elks memorial service will be held at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
