Phillip Leon Mueggenborg 1952 - 2012

Phillip Leon Mueggenborg, 59, of Stillwater, formerly of Kingfisher, died Saturday, March 17, 2012, at Stillwater Medical Center in Stillwater.

A rosary will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, with Caroline Johnston officiating. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 22, with the Rev. Stephen Hamilton officiating. Both services will be held at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Kingfisher. Burial will follow in the Kingfisher Cemetery under direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home in El Reno.

He was born Dec. 18, 1952, in Okarche. He lived most of his life in Kingfisher, moving to Stillwater in December 2011. He served in the Air National Guard. He was a wheat farmer and rancher and a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Matt and Bridget Mueggenborg of Stillwater and Lance Mueggenborg and Rosie Perez of Ann Arbor, Mich.; two daughters, Crystal Mueggenborg of Stillwater and Monica Mueggenborg of Oklahoma City; one brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Gerry Mueggenborg of Kingfisher; two sisters, Corrine Mueggenborg of Amado, Ariz., and Maggie Linstrom of North Billerica, Mass.; six grandchildren, Natalie Hume, Matthew Mueggenborg, Breanne Saylor, Levi Howell, Zachary Howell and Ella Mueggenborg, and two great-grandchildren, Kailee Hume and Aden Mueggenborg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter Edward and Elenora Steffes Mueggenborg; a brother, Edward Mueggenborg, and a grandson, Josh Hume.
