Robert Henry Mueggenborg 1926-2002

Robert H. Mueggenborg, 75, of Okarche died Sept. 14, 2002, at Cimarron Nursing Center in Kingfisher.
A prayer service was held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Okarche.
Mass of Christian Burial was set for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Rev. Marvin Leven and Deacon Max Schwarz officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, under direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home in El Reno.
He was born Oct. 21, 1926, to Albert J. and Gertrude Osterholt Mueggenborg in Okarche.
He married Madlyn Ann Krittenbrink on Nov. 25, 1947. She preceded him in death on July 7, 1991.
He was employed at the Okarche Coop as a mechanic until retirement. He was a WWII Army veteran and a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Catholic Order of Foresters and the VFW.
Survivors include two sons, Robert F. Mueggenborg and wife Kay and Patrick J. Mueggenborg and wife Kathy, all of Okarche; two daughters, Lena M. Mueggenborg and Joyce A. Mueggenborg, both of the home; one sister, Marcella Eischen of Okarche; six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one sister, Bernita Kraus and one brother, Arthur Joseph Mueggenborg.
