Yale resident, Ruth Evelyn Mueggenborg, 77, died Saturday, July 29, 2000, at Stillwater Medical Center.

Rosary services are scheduled for today at 7 p.m. at Strode Funeral Home Chapel. Services, with Fathers Dan Mueggenborg, Bob Schlitt, Edward Weisenburger and Bill Moler officiating will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Francis Catholic Church.

Interment will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Okarche. Strode Funeral Home is directing the arrangements.

She was born in a farmhouse three miles northwest of Glencoe March 20, 1923, to Percy Ray Jack and Laura Laveda Ann (Penny) Laughlin. She married Tony Mueggenborg July 15, 1943, in Oklahoma City. He died March 27, 2000.

After she graduated from high school in 1940 she moved to Oklahoma City where she went to Draughn Business School. She worked at Tinker Air Force Base in 1942 and 1943. After she was married the couple moved to Yale where they resided since.

She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Payne County Extension Service and was a retired homemaker.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her parents, three sisters and one brother.

Survivors include three sons, John Andrew Mueggenborg and his wife, Chrystal, Lewis Vernon Mueggenborg and his wife, Tammi, and Darrel Ray Mueggenborg and his wife, Jennifer, all of Yale; two daughters, Virginia Ann Cussner and her husband, Dale, of Yale and Mildred Marie Overholt and her husband, Mac, of El Reno; 11 grandchildren, Christy Poe, and her husband, Jeff, of Sand Springs, Tracy Hill and her husband Rob, of Perkins, Mike Mueggenborg and his wife, Michelle and Ryan and Matt Mueggenborg, all of Yale, Amy Overholt, of Mannford, Stephanie Branch and her husband Richard, of Washington, Lori Cussner, and Dustin and Derrick Mueggenborg, all of Yale; three great-grandchildren, Huston and Lindsay Poe, of Sand Springs and Morgan Mueggenborg, of Yale; and one sister, Edna Gravitt, of Harrah.

Pallbearers will be Philo Gravitt, Dan Gravitt, Mike Gravitt, Paul Hart, Joe Tytanic and Virtes Penny.
