Sean Michael Beisch was born on August 15, 1992 in Algona, Iowa, the son of David and Lynn (Reising) Beisch. He was a 2nd grader at Seton School in Algona and had a sister Ashley, and a dog, Sassy, that he truly loved, that will miss him deeply. Sean was very active and enjoyed being with his friends and loved playing basketball, football, baseball, golfing, and kickball with them. He loved Pokémon and playing his Play Station games. Sean loved sports and some of his favorite teams were the Miami Dolphins, Iowa Hawkeyes, St.Louis Cardinals, and the Bishop Garrigan Golden Bears. He loved to watch WWF on the television and play Monopoly with anyone.
Sean Beisch was an 8-year-old boy, who underwent a cord blood transplant followed by mesenchymal stem cell infusion for treatment of pre-B-cell acute lymphocytic leukemia. He had been battling this for 4 years.
Sean died on Tuesday, November 28, 2000 at the age of 8, at the Fairview University Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with his family and friends by his side.
He is survived by his parents, David and Lynn Beisch of Algona, Iowa; sister Ashley Beisch of Algona, Iowa; maternal grandparents, Richard and Arlene Reising of Algona, Iowa; paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Marilyn Beisch of Algona, Iowa; great-grandmother, Susan Beisch of Algona, Iowa; aunts and uncles, John Reising of Sioux City, Iowa; Cyndi and Chris Hanna of Algona, Iowa; Ed and Delores Beisch of Westside, Iowa; cousins Abby, Jessica, Christopher, Spencer, Jenny, and Dustin.
Sean was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, George and Clara Goetz; Andrew and Esther Reising; Edward Beisch; Milo and Mabel Rentz.
